This cocktail calls for Liber & Co. Almond Orgeat Syrup. We use and stock it, made by Liber & Co. in Texas from real ingredients.
Fog Cutter
One of Trader Vic’s signature drinks, the Fog Cutter mixes rum, brandy and gin with fresh citrus and orgeat, then finishes with a float of sherry. It’s a strong one, so sip slowly.
Ingredients
- 60 ml White rum
- 30 ml Brandy
- 15 ml Gin
- 60 ml Fresh orange juice
- 30 ml Fresh lemon juice
- 15 ml Orgeat
- 15 ml Cream sherry to float
Instructions
- Add everything except the sherry to a shaker with ice.
- Shake well for about 10 seconds.
- Strain into a tall glass or tiki mug filled with fresh ice.
- Gently float the sherry on top and garnish with a sprig of mint.
