The Saturn Cocktail
Wes McDermott
This classic gin Tiki cocktail was invented in 1967, by California bartender J. “Popo” Galsini, who won the International Bartender’s Association World Championship in 1967 with the cocktail. For me it's the perfect gin tiki cocktail, featuring a fruity combination of gin, passion fruit, orgeat, falernum, and lemon juice.

Orgeat
Orgeat is a sweet almond syrup that’s used in a wide variety of Tiki Drinks. You can make this yourself, but ingredients may be hard to come by and it can be time-consuming to make. You can buy it pre-made, but be aware not all Orgeat’s are created equal as most don’t contain brandy and contain far too much sugar and flavourings.
The Orgeat Syrup you can buy from our shop contains all-natural ingredients.

Passion Fruit Syrup
Our Passion Fruit Syrup includes passion fruit puree made from Californian grown passion fruits, filtered water, and cane sugar.

Flash Blending
Flash blending is a technique used to perfectly aerate and dilute a cocktail. It involves quick bursts using a blender, usually a top-down milkshake blender, such as the Hamilton Beach. However, any blender will return the desired results as long as you pulse blend.
